The two all encompassing laws Love God above all else and love your neighbours as you love yourself. We were created in God`s image and how does Jesus fullfill the Law? sacrificing himself for love for us. But not only. Having all of us in front of his eyes on that cross obeying to the Father. As clear as those 10 Commandments. He is not entrapped in the legalistic trappings that only think of the external comformity to the Law or let that override the awareness that we are in reality adhering to the Spirit ''wrongly afraid that we are falling short of something'' and that make us slaves and confused by the tangles of scrupolosity which risks make us trip on the path ''how often do we think too much and see sinfulness where there isn`t...becoming unsure and afraid of not being able to win over real temptaions not trusting enough in the Lord`s constant presence His love constantly feeding us...:''''. His soul is serene in the battle and does not give in to the demons tempting him the night before the suffering. He is rooted in Love and obeyance. Jesus...the humble&firm banner of victory. Why was it important for Jesus to go through a time of temptation?
To set us an example that noone is exempt from temptations. That the Lord is always with us and that we can win over everything with His help being rooted in Him with that serenity and peace of mind that comes from Faith and an earnest desire to stick to Him. Being firmly calmly and steadily rooted in his Word, the devil has no power on us. We can easily deflect his envious blows with firmness. And the closer to the Lord the harder the envious blows...but the Lord is with us His beloved children entrusted to the protective mantel of Mary ''one of those two hymns said that the rejoicing smily eyes reflect the blue of the clear skies''. It was important for Jesus to be tempted so we could learn from His responses to Satan. He turned to God`s written Word in each of the times He spoke to Satan and this tells me of the awesome power of God`s Word. This is why is it so very important that we study and memorize our Bible so that we may make the most use of this valuable shield God has provided for us. Then Jesus was led up
by the Spirit into the wilderness to be tempted by the devil. When he had fasted forty days and
forty nights, he was hungry afterward. The tempter came and said to him,
"If you are the Son of God, command that these stones become
bread."
But he answered, "It is written, 'Man shall not live by bread alone, but by
every word that proceeds out of the mouth of God.'" Then the devil took him
into the holy city. He set him on the pinnacle of the temple, and said to him, "If you are
the Son of God, throw yourself down, for it is written, 'He will give his
